Terms of Service
Last updated: May 25, 2026
By downloading, accessing, or using SnappyPie (the iOS app, web app, or API), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
SnappyPie turns images you provide into AI-generated educational micro-lessons on iOS and at snappypie.app/login. The Community feature lets members browse lessons others have chosen to share. Output is for learning support only and may contain errors. Always verify important facts with teachers, textbooks, or other trusted sources. SnappyPie is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical).
Accounts
You must register before using the app. The same account can be used on the web app and iOS where supported.
Accounts
You must register an account before using the app. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Sign in with Apple and email/password accounts may be used on iOS and the web app where supported. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others.
Community
The Community page (/community) shows lessons that members have chosen to share publicly. By enabling community sharing on a lesson, you grant SnappyPie a non-exclusive license to display that lesson (including title, steps, optional image, and your display name) to other signed-in users. Do not share content you do not have the right to publish. We may remove community content that violates these terms.
Paid app and subscriptions
- SnappyPie is offered as a paid download on the Apple App Store. Your purchase includes the Included plan with monthly AI lesson limits on SnappyPie servers.
- Optional auto-renewable subscriptions (Plus, Pro) add higher monthly limits. Pricing is shown in the App Store at purchase.
- Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Profile → Manage subscription (Customer Center), Cancel subscription, or iOS Settings → Subscriptions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, harassing, or non-consensual content
- Share others’ homework or personal data without permission
- Bypass usage limits, scrape the API, or reverse engineer the service
- Use the service to cheat on graded work where your school prohibits AI tools
- Interfere with security or availability of the service
Intellectual property
The SnappyPie app, branding, and software are owned by SnappyPie. You retain rights to images you submit; you grant us a limited license to process, store, and (if you opt in) display them to provide the service.
Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPPYPIE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and sign out. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
Changes
We may update these terms or the app. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
